REVIEW: Black Opal True Color Pore Perfecting Foundation

16:00:00

Black Opal's DescriptionKeep them guessing with picture poreless skin. This lightweight, oil-free liquid foundation seamlessly blends to provide flawless coverage with a high definition finish. Exclusive poreless technology helps minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, controls excess oil and renews skin natural radiance. Oil, fragrance and paraben-free formula. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive.

My Shade: Truly Topaz

Price: Between $1,500-1,700 JA (Bought mine for $1,629.00JA +GCT)

What I Used To Apply It: Cala Dual Fibre Complexion Brush (Stippling Brush).
Would not advise using a sponge to apply it, as the product is kind of runny and the sponge will just absorb the product and you'll have to use more than necessary, and end up with cake face. TRUST ME!

Pros:

  • Lightweight
  • "Light coverage" BUT it conceals my blemishes & the dark areas on my face
  • Looks natural
  • Evens out my skin tone
  • Blurs my pores (As I usually have to blur my pictures to hide my pores)
  • 1 pump of product will do it.  #savingproduct

Cons:

  • Kind of tingly when you first apply it. The tingling goes away though.
  • Have to set with a powder or you'll end up looking greasy

OVERALL: I REALLY LIKE THIS FOUNDATION. I tried this once before writing this review and I was not really a fan, because my face just looked yellow and cakeface. BUT, instead of using a sponge to apply the product, I used my stippling brush and far less product; and I really like the results.

BUT YOU BE THE JUDGE! DOES IT LOOK GOOD, BAD, IN BETWEEN?
LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.

P.S. None of these pictures where blurred, showing you the real thing. WITH FLASH. So you can see the real thing, no hiding.

ALSO.....can you give me some blog post ideas you'd like to see....kinda running out of ideas. Thanks in advance.
